Why capsules instead of one big tub?
Caviar lipids and hydrolyzed proteins start degrading the moment air and water get to them. A 500ml tub you keep going back into is oxidising the whole time. Sealing each dose — the single-dose method Korean salons built — means the eighth treatment is as strong as the first.
How long does one set last?
Eight capsules, two treatments a week — around a month. The 500ml mask base lasts the same eight capsules with a little to spare.
What are the beads, and do they dissolve?
Each capsule holds sturgeon caviar beads — the actives held in a gel bead so air and water can't get at them. Tip them into the bowl and crush them through the mask with the spatula; they break down completely in about twenty seconds and the mask goes smooth. If you can still feel grit, keep mixing.
Is it safe on coloured or bleached hair?
Yes — it's designed for it. It contains no sulphates or added oxidisers, and the silk and lipid content helps seal pigment in rather than lift it out.
